There are many communities, government agencies, groups and individuals interested in managing the natural resources of the Darling River and its catchment. Some groups manage specific aspects of the catchment, others have larger roles. Some actively lobby and raise awareness about the environment, some undertake on-ground works. All want to see improved land and water resources.
We have invited several diverse groups along the Darling to provide their perspectives on the river and to share their views, challenges and aspirations for this mighty and significant catchment.
Their views are as diverse as the landscape itself.
