Catchment Management along the Darling River
The catchment of the Darling River includes many river systems and waterways, some of which are interconnected and others that stand alone.
To help manage the natural resources of the catchment, two Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs) have been established – the Western CMA and the Lower Murray Darling CMA.
Both CMAs have developed Catchment Management Plans that include targets for improving native vegetation, land use, rivers, groundwater, cultural heritage preservation, biodiversity and sustainable communities.
Follow the links to each CMA to find out how they are managing their particular part of the Darling River catchment.
